Tripel Karmeliet is a blonde Belgian beer with a high alcohol content of 8.4% and brewed at Bosteels Brewery in Buggenhout. This ale was first brewed in 1996 using three grains: wheat, oats and barley. This beer is brewed using an old authentic beer recipe, which dates back to 1679.
Tripel Karmeliet achieved worldwide recognition by winning the world's best Pale Ale award at the 2008 World Beer Awards.
